Gli oggetti magici possono essere acquisiti in una varietà di modi. Il più comune è uccidere mostri, oppure acquistarli nei negozi dei Mercanti Goblin. Occasionalmente, alcuni scrigni possono trovarsi abbandonati sulla mappa. Solo gli eroi possono raccogliere e utilizzare tali oggetti. Per farlo, clicca con il pulsante destro del mouse sull'oggetto con il tuo eroe: egli si muove verso di esso e lo sistema nell'inventario. 

Ogni eroe può trasportare fino a un massimo di 6 oggetti. Per usarne uno, selezionarlo dall'inventario. Se desideri abbandonare un oggetto (o cambiarlo di posizione all'interno dell'inventario), cliccaci sopra con il pulsante destro del mouse. Alcuni oggetti hanno bisogno che tu selezioni un bersaglio, altri vengono scaricati automaticamente non appena ci clicchi sopra.

Esisitono dei tasti di scelta rapida che ti permettono di utilizzare rapidamente gli oggetti nell'inventario. I numeri sul tastierino corrispondono alle sei posizioni nell'inventario del tuo eroe: premendone uno, usi automaticamente l'oggetto associato. I numeri 7 e 8 rappresentano la fila superiore; 4 e 5 quella di mezzo e 1 e 2 quella inferiore.

Esistono tre tipi di oggetti magici:

Consumabili possono essere usati una volta sola, dopodichè svaniscono dall'inventario. Le Pozioni di Guarigione appartengono a questa categoria. Gli oggetti consumabili non hanno bisogno di un bersaglio, ma agiscono non appena l'erore li utilizza.
Caricati possono essere utilizzati diverse volte prima di svanire. Il numero di "cariche" è visualizzato nell'inventario, nella'ngolo in basso a destra dell'immagine dell'oggetto. Ogni volta che usi l'oggetto, il numero diminuisce di un'unità finchè raggiunge lo zero e svanisce dall'inventario.
Persistenti sono sempre attivi e non svaniscono. Per smettere di beneficiare di tali oggetti devi toglierli dall'inventario. Essi non hanno bisogno di un bersaglio e forniscono un beneficio perpetuo all'eroe che li indossa.

Un eroe può trasportare più oggetti dello stesso tipo e, spesso, l'effetto di più oggetti persistenti simili si somma.

CONSUMABILI
Amulet of Recall
Teleports 12 friendly units within the targeted area to the location of the Hero when used. Amulet of Recall
The Amulet of Recall is useful for running your Hero into an enemy base, then recalling siege weapons to that base. Use an Invisible Potion to get into the base, then use a Town Portal Scroll to escape when the enemy responds.

Ankh delle Reincarnazione

Antibody Potion
Gives the Hero immunity to magical spells for 30 seconds.
Book of the Dead
Summons four Skeleton Warriors and four Skeleton Archers to fight for you. Lasts 120 seconds.
Demonic Figurine
Summons a Doom Guard to fight for you. Lasts 180 seconds.
Health Stone
Increases the life regeneration rate of the Hero when worn. Can be consumed for 400 health.
Infernal Stone
Summons an Infernal from the sky and causes 50 damage in the area it lands.
Mana Stone
Increases the mana regeneration rate of the Hero when worn. Can be consumed for 300 mana.
Manual of Health
Permanently increases the hit points of the Hero by 50 when used.

Potion of Healing
Heals 250 hit points when used.
Potion of Greater Healing
Heals 500 hit points when used.
Potion of Invisibility
Renders the Hero invisible for 120 seconds when used. An invisible Hero is untargetable by the enemy unless detected. If the Hero attacks, uses an ability, or casts a spell, the invisibility effect is lost.
Potion of Greater Invisibility
Renders the Hero invisible for 180 seconds when used. An invisible Hero is untargetable by the enemy unless detected. If the Hero attacks, uses an ability, or casts a spell, the invisibility effect is lost.
Potion of Invulnerability
Makes the Hero invulnerable to damage for 15 seconds when used. An invulnerable Hero may not be the target of spells or effects.
Potion of Mana
Restores 150 mana when used.
Potion of Greater Mana
Restores 300 mana when used.
Potion of Restoration
Completely restores the hit points and mana of the Hero when used.
Potion of Speed
Increases the movement speed of the Hero for 30 seconds.
Red Drake Egg
Summons a Red Drake to fight for you. Lasts 180 seconds.
Scroll of Animate Dead
Raises 6 nearby dead units to fight for 120 seconds.
Scroll of the Beast
Gives friendly nearby units a 25% bonus to damage for 20 seconds
Scroll of Healing
Heals 150 hit points to all friendly non-mechanical units around the Hero when used.
Scroll of Mana
Restores 100 mana to all friendly units in an area around your Hero.
Scroll of Protection
Increases the armor of all friendly units in an area around your Hero by 2 for 30 seconds.
Scroll of Restoration
Fully restores the hit points and mana of friendly non-mechanical units in an area around your Hero.
Scroll of Resurrection
Brings 6 of your dead units back to life.

Portale cittadino

Soul Gem
Traps the targeted enemy Hero inside the Soul Gem when used. The enemy Hero is returned to play when the bearer of the Soul Gem is killed. While an enemy Hero is trapped, the bearer of the Soul Gem is revealed to the enemy through the Fog of War.
Spiked Collar
Summons a Felhound to fight for you. Lasts 180 seconds.
Stone Token
Summons a Rock Golem to fight for you. Lasts 180 seconds.
Tome of Knowledge
Permanently increases the Strength, Agility and Intelligence of the Hero by 1 when used.
Tome of Power
Increases the level of the Hero by 1 when used.

Tome of Agility
Permanently increases the Agility of the Hero by 1 when used.

Tome of Agility +2
Permanently increases the Agility of the Hero by 2 when used.
Tome of Experience
Gives 200 experience to the Hero when used.
Tome of Greater Experience
Gives the Hero 500 bonus experience points when used.

Tome of Intelligence
Permanently increases the Intelligence of the Hero by 1 when used.
Tome of Intelligence +2
Permanently increases the Intelligence of the Hero by 2 when used.

Tome of Strength
Permanently increases the Strength of the Hero by 1 when used.

Tome of Strength +2
Permanently increases the Strength of the Hero by 2 when used.

   
CARICATI
Crystal Ball
Reveals a targeted area. Invisible units are also revealed by the Crystal Ball's effect.
Goblin Land Mine
Places a hidden land mine at a target point. Enemy units that move near the land mine will activate the mine, destroying the mine and causing area of effect damage to nearby units.
Healing Wards
Drops a ward that heals nearby friendly units for 20 seconds.
Sentry Wards
Drops a sentry ward to spy upon an area for 600 seconds.
Scepter of Mastery
Transfers control of the targeted non-Hero unit to the player who uses the Scepter. The transfer of control is permanent.
Talisman of the Wild
This mystic stone summons 1 Furbolg to fight for you. Lasts 180 seconds.
Wand of Illusion
Create an illusory double of the targeted unit when used. The illusory double deals no damage to enemy units, takes 2 times the damage from enemy attacks, and will disappear after 60 seconds or when its hit points reach zero.
Wand of Lightning Shield
Allows the Hero to cast Lightning Shield on a target unit. Lightning Shield surrounds a unit with electricity, damaging nearby units.
Wand of Negation
Dispels all magical effects in a target area.
Wand of the Wind
Allows the Hero to cast Cyclone. Cyclone tosses a target enemy unit into the air, rendering them unable to attack, move, or casts spells.

Increases the Intelligence of the Hero by 1 when carried.

Increases the attack damage of the Hero by 3 when worn.

Increases the attack damage of the Hero by 6 when worn.
Claws of Attack +9
Increases the attack damage of the Hero by 9 when worn.
Claws of Attack +12
Increases the attack damage of the Hero by 12 when worn.
Claws of Attack +15
Increases the attack damage of the Hero by 15 when worn.
Cloak of Flames
Engulfs the Hero in fire which deals 10 damage per second to nearby enemy units
Cloak of Shadows
Provides the Hero with invisibility at night when worn. An invisible Hero is untargetable by the enemy unless detected. If the Hero moves, attacks, uses an ability, or casts a spell, the invisibility effect is lost.
Crown of Kings +5
Increases the Strength, Intelligence, and Agility of the Hero by 5 when worn.
Druid Pouch
Increases the Intelligence of the Hero by 1 when carried.
Gauntlets of Ogre Strength +3
Increases the Strength of the Hero by 3 when worn.
Gem of True Seeing
Allows the Hero to detect hidden or invisible units in the Hero's line of sight when carried.
Gloves of Haste
Increases the attack speed of the Hero by 15% when worn.
Goblin Night Scope
Provides an increase to the Hero's line of sight radius at night when carried.
Helm of Valor
Increases the Strength and Agility of the Hero by 4 when worn.
Hood of Cunning
Increases the Agility and Intelligence of the Hero by 4 when worn.
Ironwood Branch
Increases the Strength of the Hero by 1 when carried.
Khadgar's Pipe of Insight
Grants the Hero and friendly nearby units 1 bonus mana regeneration per second.
Legion Doom-Horn
Grants the Hero and friendly nearby units increased life regeneration and movement speed.
Lion's Ring
Increases the Agility of the Hero by 1 when worn.
The Lion Horn of Stormwind
Grants the Hero and friendly nearby units 1 bonus armor.
Mantle of Intelligence +3
Increases the Intelligence of the Hero by 3 when worn.
Mask of Death
Gives melee Heroes a vampiric attack that converts 50% of their attack damage into life.
Medallion of Courage
Increases the Strength and Intelligence of the Hero by 4 when worn.
Necklace of Spell Immunity
Renders the Hero invulnerable to magic.
Orb of Fire
Adds 12 bonus fire damage to the attack of a Hero when carried. The Hero's attacks also do splash damage to nearby enemy units.
Orb of Frost
Adds 6-12 points of damage to the attack of a Hero when carried. The Hero's attacks also slow the movement speed and attack rate of the enemy.
Orb of Lightning
Adds 6-12 points of damage to the attack of a Hero when carried. Casts Purge with every attack.
Pendant of Energy
Increases the mana capacity of the Hero by 150 when worn.
Pendant of Mana
Increases the mana capacity of the Hero by 300 when worn.
Periapt of Health
Increases the hit points of the Hero by 300 when worn.
Periapt of Vitality
Increases the hit points of the Hero by 100 when worn.
Ring of Protection +1
Increases the armor of the Hero by 1 when worn.
Ring of Protection +2
Increases the armor of the Hero by 2 when worn.
Ring of Protection +3
Increases the armor of the Hero by 3 when worn.
Ring of Protection +4
Increases the armor of the Hero by 4 when worn.
Ring of Protection +5
Increases the armor of the Hero by 5 when worn.
Ring of Regeneration
Increases the Hero's rate of hit point regeneration when worn.
Ring of Superiority
Increases the Strength, Agility, and Intelligence of the Hero by 1 when worn.
Robe of the Magi +6
Increases the Intelligence of the Hero by 6 when worn.
Scourge Bone Chimes
Grants the Hero and friendly nearby units a vampiric aura which steals 15% of the damage they deal and converts it into life.
Skull Shield
Increases the Strength of the Hero by 1 when carried.
Slippers of Agility +3
Increases the Agility of the Hero by 3 when worn.
Sobi Mask
Increases the Hero's rate of mana regeneration when worn.
Spider Ring
Increases the Agility of the Hero by 1 when worn.
Talisman of Evasion
Causes attacks against the wearer to miss 8% of the time.
Totem of Might
Increases the Strength of the Hero by 1 when carried.
Voodoo Doll
Increases the Intelligence of the Hero by 1 when carried.
Warsong Battle Drums
Increases the attack damage of nearby friendly units by 1 when worn.
  Orbs
A ranged Hero will get a new missile that corresponds to the type of Orb he/she is using. It looks very cool to see the Lich throwing fireballs or the Priestess of the Moon using Lightning Balls.
